Attorneys

Paul I. Newman is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, and has been practicing in New York for over 40 years, specializing in small business formation and finance, estate planning, family law and commercial law. He is admitted to practice law in New York, the Northern District of New York U.S. District Court, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also a former Assistant Onondaga County attorney. He is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association. Paul has served as a president, chairman, and director of many community organizations such as the Friends of Rosamond Gifford Zoo, Syracuse University Alumni Club, the Lupus Foundation, the Small Business Administration SCORE program, and Syracuse Behavioral Health Care. He has also served as a trustee of the Syracuse University College of Law.

Scott A. Lickstein is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, and has been practicing in New York for 30 years. He is admitted to practice law in New York, the Northern District of New York U.S. District Court, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association. His primary areas of practice include business and commercial law, complex commercial litigation, real estate transactions and property evictions, and family law. Scott is a long term resident of Syracuse, and has been an active board member in a number of community organizations including Syracuse Behavioral Health Care, the Syracuse Business Exchange, Vera House, and Jewish Family Service. He also lectures at seminars on commercial law, business formation, and account collection strategies.
