The largest fighting video game tournament in the world, The Evolution Championship Series known as EVO, returned to Las Vegas this August. EVO amassed the most attendees recorded in EVO’s 20+ year history, with over 9,000 gamers from around the world flocking to the Crunchyroll, Chipotle, AT&T, Red Bull and Sony INZONE sponsored event. Participants had the chance to compete in front of in-person attendees and a worldwide streaming audience in games such as Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Guilty Gear Strive, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, The King of Fighters XV, and Tekken 7. EVO continues to reign as the most exciting esports tournament for fighting games and has built the most energetic and dedicated community of fans and industry partners. This year, three attorneys from the Newman & Lickstein team were in attendance!
